Man critical after falling off Mdina bastions (3)
A young man is in a critical condition after falling several storeys from
the Mdina bastions on Tuesday.
The police said the 21-year-old man was found lying in a field in Triq l-
Gharreqin, Rabat at around 7pm.
Members of the Civil Protection Department and a medical team assisted the
man on site, before he was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.
An inquiry is being held.

KARACHI: Foreign firms operating in Pakistan sent $892.3 million in profits
and dividends to their parent companies abroad during the first half of the
current fiscal year of 2020/21, up around seven percent year-on-year as
economic activities rebounded following the deadliest impact of coronavirus
lockdown, the central bank's data showed on Tuesday.
Huawei to open French plant in 2023 (1)
Chinese telecoms giant Huawei, under pressure from Western governments
suspicious it presents a security risk, is to open its first mobile network
plant outside China in 2023 in eastern France, a director said on Tuesday.
Work on the factory, which is to manufacture base stations, should begin
this year, Huawei vice president and supervisory board member Catherine
Chen told a video press conference.

The two priests involved in the alleged sexual abuse of an altar boy in
Gozo are Dun Joseph Sultana and Dun Joseph Cini, MaltaToday has learnt.
Police said on Tuesday evening the two clergy members were arrested in
connection with the alleged sexual abuse of the minor, which happened
"years ago".
