SANTIAGO, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) - The Chilean Air Force reported Monday that it
lost track of a plane with 38 people on board.
The aircraft was en route from the southern city of Punta Arenas to
Antarctica with 17 crew members and 21 passengers aborad, it said.
The Hercules C130 aircraft took off at 4:55 p.m.

SANTIAGO: Chile's air force said it lost radio contact with a transport
plane carrying 38 people on a flight Monday evening to the country's base
in Antarctica.
It said the military had declared an alert and activated search and rescue
teams.
The C-130 Hercules carried 17 crew members and 21 passengers, including
three civilians.

ISTANBUL, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on
Monday that the country would continue to conduct explorations "not only in
the Mediterranean Sea but also in the Black Sea and even in international
waters."
In a televised interview with the state-run TRT broadcaster, Erdogan noted
that Turkey is considering procuring another drilling ship for that purpose.

NEW YORK (AP) - Exxon Mobil won Tuesday in a closely watched lawsuit over
the costs of climate change, with a judge saying there was no proof the
energy giant duped investors about the toll that regulations could take on
its business.
New York Attorney General Letitia James' office didn't prove the company
made any material misstatements "that misled any reasonable investor,"
state judge Barry Ostrager in Manhattan wrote in dismissing the case.
