Apple, Google Call Truce in Smartphone Patent War (22)

Google and Apple, the two technology titans behind the world's top smartphone platforms, called a truce Friday in a long-running patent war. "Apple and Google have agreed to dismiss all the current lawsuits that exist directly between the two companies," the companies said in a joint statement.

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Record flooding in the Balkans left least 20 people dead in Serbia and Bosnia and is forcing tens of thousands to flee their homes, authorities said Saturday. Meteorologists say the flooding is the worst since records began 120 years ago and is due to a three-month amount of rain that fell on the region in just three days.
