Man City banned from Champions League for next two seasons (47)

Manchester City have been banned from UEFA club competitions for the next
two seasons and fined EUR30m after being found to have "committed serious
breaches of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations,"
European football's governing body has announced.

Biggest jump in world defence spending in 10 years: study (17)

Global spending on defence rose by four percent in 2019, the largest growth
in 10 years, led by big increases from the US and China, a study said
Friday.
Beijing's military modernisation programme - which includes developing new
hard-to-detect hypersonic missiles - is alarming Washington and helping
drive US defence spending, the International Institute for Strategic
Studies (IISS) said.
