- 65th World Health Assembly ends with new global health measures
Geneva, Switzerland (PANA) - The 65th World Health Assembly ended on
Saturday in Geneva after adopting 21 resolutions and three decisions on a
broad range of health issues.
The six days of discussions involved nearly 3,000 delegates, including
health ministers and senior health officials from amongst the 194 WHO
Member States, as well as representatives from civil society and other
stakeholders, a statement from the WHO on Sunday said.

EGYPT'S presidential election frontrunners have been vying for deals with
rival candidates in a bid to appease a polarised nation that will choose
between an Islamist and a Mubarak-era minister in a June run-off.
Final votes were still being counted today, but unofficial results
suggested that the top two candidates are the Muslim Brotherhood's Mohammed
Mursi and Ahmed Shafiq, a former prime minister under ousted president
Hosni Mubarak.

Ristovski is set to hold Sunday a working meeting with the president of the

president of the Free Trade Unions Confederation (KSS), Rasko Miskovski.
The meeting corresponds with the completion of a procedure for signing the
new General Collective Agreement for the Public Sector, the ministry said
in a press release.

The Independent TD Shane Ross has this morning declared that he is calling
for a no vote in the referendum.
Writing in today's Sunday Independent, Deputy Ross said he would reject the
Treaty as a means of postponement, until the situation in Europe and the
implications of the Greek crisis become clearer.
