New Delhi: Army chief General V K Singh is undertaking a four-day tour to
UK on February 14, a move that could scotch media speculation about his
resignation in the near future after his loss in the legal battle over his
age in the Supreme Court.
A release issued by the Army said that the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) will
be interacting with senior military and civilian hierarchy and discussing
various defence related issues to strengthen existing defence ties with UK

A roadside explosion has claimed the lives of at least three more civilians
in the southern Afghanistan province of Helmand, Press TV reports.
According to locals, the bomb went off late Saturday in the city of Washir,
after a vehicle came into contact with it.
