BEIRUT (TAP) - Majid Al-Majid, al-Qaeda's commander in Lebanon, has died;
It was reported on Saturday, after being transferred to a military hospital
due to "poor health" a day earlier.
In a short statement, the Lebanese Army said Majid al-Majid "died this
morning (Saturday) while undergoing treatment at the central military
hospital after his health deteriorated."
"Al-Majid died after suffering kidney failure," he added.
