Former Rwandan intelligence chief faces charges of complicity in genocide before a court in Paris. A landmark trial of a former Rwandan army captain charged with complicity in the 1994 genocide that left more than 500,000 people dead has begun in a Paris court for an expected seven-week trial. Pascal Simbikangwa, 54, will face charges of complicity in genocide and in crimes against humanity.
