Three ex-Barclays employees to be charged with fraud (12)

Three former Barclays bankers are to be charged in connection with an investigation into the fixing of Libor interest rates, it was announced today. The are accused of "conspiring to defraud" and will appear at Westminster magistrates court in the coming weeks. The Serious Fraud Office said criminal proceedings had begun against Peter Johnson, 59, Jonathan Mathew, 42, and 32-year-old Stylianos Contogoulas.
