Associated Press Topics: From the Wires, News CAIRO (AP) - An Egyptian court has sentenced 29 defendants it describes as Islamist supporters of the ousted president to five years in prison each on several charges including rioting. The Tuesday ruling by Nasr City Misdemeanor court is in connection to demonstrations staged to protest the overthrow of Islamist President Mohammed Morsi by the military in July.
