Japanese car giants Honda and Nissan have added almost three million
vehicles to a recall they made last year over a fault in passenger airbags.
The affected cars reportedly have a defect that can cause the airbag to
deploy abnormally and potentially explode during a crash.
Honda said it was recalling just over 2 million vehicles globally while
Nissan announced nearly 800,000 of its cars were being called back.
