Shoppers up and down the country are facing steeper prices at the till, on
top of soaring energy prices and biggest pay slump since records began.

Slovak Air Force would decommission its MiG-29 jets by the end of August.
Starting from that moment, until Slovakia receives its F-16s, Poland and
the Czech Republic would be tasked with defending the Slovak airspace.
The Slovak Air Force is bidding farewell to the MiG-29 after three decades.
The type is to be phased out in late August.

Sounds of violent splashing in Florida's Silver Springs State Park led a
woman on a paddleboard to discover a very large alligator was in the
process of eating one of its own.
Tammy Shaw shared images and video of the grisly moment on the Alligators
of Florida Facebook group, showing the large alligator was slapping its
prey against the water - to rip its meal into bite-sized pieces.

The Starbucks coffee chain will resume operating in Russia under the new
brand name "Stars Coffee," Moscow 24 channel reported on Wednesday.
According to the media, a girl in a traditional Russian ‘kokoshnik'
headdress will replace the mermaid on the logo.
Coffee shops in the Russian capital will reportedly open under the new name
on August 18.
