Massapequa Coast beats Toms River East, step closer to Little League World Series (1)

Massapequa Coast Little League coach Roland Clark said his team's
confidence upheld when it mattered the most.
Massapequa, the winner of the New York State championship defeated New
Jersey champion Toms River East 6-3 in seven innings on Saturday in the
Little League Baseball Metro Region tournament in Bristol, Conn., thanks to
some extra-innings heroics.
